Education and understanding of their conditions and how as a profession we can help them.
I completed a Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2018 at the University of Tasmania before continuing and finishing a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Sport Science with Clinical Honours in Exercise Physiology in 2020. I spent most of my time at university working withing sporting teams as a sports trainer for the North Hobart Demons before moving into a sports science role within AFL Tasmania for the Devils.
I enjoy the care the team has for their clients and the passion we all share for providing a high quality service for a variety of conditions.
I grew up in Auckland, NZ and moved to Singapore and then Malaysia before finally ending up in Hobart, Tasmania where completed grade 10 through to university. Growing up in NZ, of course I played rugby union, but with not much rugby available in south-east Asia I took up badminton and golf before playing rugby again for a short period when I moved to Australia. Playing a host of other sports throughout my childhood I’ve picked up a few shoulder injuries though this doesn’t stop me from doing things I enjoy.
Honesty, Passion, Responsibility, Consistency.
I enjoy strength training, catching up with mates and weekend adventures. At the moment, some mates and I are trying out as many burger and brunch places as we can around Brisbane. Apart from this, I spend a lot of my free time watching sport and am trying to go to as many events as I can this year whether its union, AFL, league, or cricket.
